Blade Runner is a 1982 cult classic, science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott and starring Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, and Sean Young.
In the movie, "Spinner" is the term for flying cars used in futuristic Los Angeles the year 2019. Spinners can be driven on the ground and take off vertically, hover, and cruise using jet propulsion.
The vehicle was conceived and designed by Syd Mead and his conceptual drawings were transformed into 25 working vehicles by automobile customizer Gene Winfield.
